International Women's Day 2018
WeCareJourney celebrates IWD by asking these 4 ladies who are successful in their own field of work, despite their challenges and medical condition, Spinal Muscular Atrophy.
WHAT DOES IWD MEAN TO THEM? They have shown us that with grit and determination, everyone, regardless of gender can achieve their dreams and live life to the fullest. We admire their "quiet strengths" in advocating for equal rights and opportunity. Keep inspiring.

These pictures say a thousand words.

"In a fight for social equality, I raise my glass to the women who have made waves and opened the path for the rest of us. We're extremely gifted with the ability to share and empathise and we'll use that to stop societal expectations from keeping us in a little box. I cheer for you to break out of your confines and seize what is yours without blushing. Happy Women's Day."

For me its a moment of celebration, learning and growing. It's a special day when we can all come out in strength and wear our badges, make a lot of noise, feel good and what that whole struggle is about. It is also an occasion to celebrate all the connections with the wonderful women who help me in my life journey.

March 8th is a day to celebrate the rights of women all over the world, to give recognition to women. Yes, the existence of every life is like sunshine. We all need to be respected and recognised, just as the lives of people with disabilities which are extremely invaluable as well.
