WeCareJourney helps families by giving them the knowledge, skills, and community they need. Our programs create opportunities for young people with disabilities to grow, express themselves, and discover new possibilities for their future.
In every program, our focus is on helping families feel supported, connected, and ready to thrive.
SMA Care is designed for families living with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA). We provide clear, trusted information to help families understand the condition and improve health outcomes.
Through SMA Care, families gain access to:
- Easy-to-read medical guides and toolkits
- Special equipment pools for critical care
- Advice from experts and real-life experiences from families
- Practical tips on prevention, diagnosis, and treatment
Our goal is simple: to answer the big questions families face – What is SMA? How does it affect us? How can we treat it early and effectively? And most importantly, how do we make sure families get the care and support they truly need?

The RISE Community Workshop is a safe, interactive space where families with children and youth with disabilities come together. Here, they:

- Share experiences and support one another
- Develop leadership skills and a stronger sense of community

SMAcare delivers relevant information to enable families with spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) to achieve better health in their lives.
