SMA Rehab Practice Guidebook (Translated)
A detailed guidebook translated from China’s SMA best practices, made easy for local families and professionals to use.
Respiratory Support Devices
Includes cough-assist machines, BiPAP, and suction devices. SMA Care raises funds, buy, and manages these devices to make sure families have access and proper insurance coverage.
Wheelchairs (Powered & Manual)
SMA Care provides and manages wheelchairs, available for families when needed.

Physiotherapists visit families at home to provide personalized care, funded by SMA Care.
RISE Community Workshop
An hands-on program where families with children and youth with disabilities come together to learn, share, and solve challenges. Through a question‑driven, action‑focused approach, it helps build independence, confidence, leadership skills, and stronger community support.
WeCare for SMA Symposiums & Workshops
Events that bring families and experts together to share experiences, learn practical care strategies, and support each another.
Influenza Vaccination Subsidy
Families can claim subsidies for influenza shots with receipts from any medical provider.
Medical & Treatment Support
In partnership with a major donor, SMA Care helps cover costs for respiratory tests and life-saving treatments at leading hospitals.
Daily Living Assistance & Respite Care Subsidy
Financial help for caregiving needs, designed with input from local and international NGOs.
Support Group Referrals
Families are connected with trusted organizations such as the Malaysian Rare Disorders Society and Spinal Muscular Atrophy Malaysia.
